WE ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION RUN BY VOLUNTEERS!

Our Arena is located in the small town of Columbiaville, MI., we invite you to participate or just watch some of the finest barrel racing in Michigan.  Southern Thumb is a family friendly organization that encourages families to play together instead of each doing their own thing.  We have plenty of room to park your rig, enjoy a picnic lunch, get the lawn chair out and enjoy the show.  And best of all, if you only come to watch it's FREE!  

As you may have noticed, we have continued to improve.  From expanding parking, replacing the arena fencing to making repairs on the clubhouse.  We intend to continue improving each and every year until the entire S.T.S.H.A. compound is looking GREAT! 

Our prices have not increased in ten years!                                     

We have very reasonable prices for each Event:

1. Youth riders- Ages 1-10, $2.00 per event
2. Junior riders- Ages 11-14, $3.00 per event
3. Senior riders- Ages 15 and up, $5.00 per event
4. Open events (all ages) are $5.00 per event

Timing fee is $3.00 per horse and rider
